Meet the Staff
Our people are our biggest asset; without their dedication, we wouldn’t be where we are today. Close partnerships with our families and community are very important to us at St Oswald’s CE Primary School.
Apart from your child’s class teacher, there are many team members who are always happy to help and sort out any questions or queries you may have.
These include:
Headteacher
Miss Murtagh is our Headteacher
Deputy Headteacher
Mrs Clarke is our Deputy Headteacher and Year 4 teacher.
Assistant Headteacher
Mrs Carr is our Assistant Headteacher and Reception Class teacher, responsible for EYFS
Mrs Erskine is our Bursar
Mrs Erskine and Mrs Webb are based in the School Office and are often a parent/carer's first point of contact. If they can’t answer your questions; they can always direct you to someone who can.
Pastoral Team
Mrs Keiley is our SENCO.
Mrs McNally is our Parent Support Adviser and also our Attendance Officer.
Our Pastoral team are always happy to offer support and guidance to children and their families on any matter; they play a fundamental role in helping all children to achieve their true potential.
Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL)
Our DSL’s are Miss E. Murtagh, Mrs C. Clarke, Mrs L. Carr, Mrs S. Keiley and Mrs J. McNally.
School Nurse
We have the support of a team of nurses who are based in Netherton, working closely with school staff to offer support and guidance on health related matters.
A school nurse can be contacted via the school office.
