We're going on a bear hunt

Class: Nursery Year: 2018 - 2019

The children read the story 'We're going on a bear hunt'.  They loved using the repeating language from the story and using it to create their own maps.  We then went on our own bear hunt around school.  We found a giant bear and brought him back to Nursery.  Our class bears decided to go on their own bear hunt in the afternoon so we had to go on a lost bear hunt to find them and bring them back safely.  Unfortunately our new bear friend couldn't stay in Nursery - it was a bit too noisy - so he returned back home.  However he did leave us some yummy porridge and honey for our snack time instead - delicious!
