Universal Children's Day

Class: Reception Year: 2016 - 17

On the 21st November the school celebrated Universal Children's Day by looking at a Country. In Reception we focused on Italy. We used the globe to locate Italy and looked at the shape of it as it looks like a boot. We looked at the Mona Lisa created by Leonardo da Vinci and drew our own self portrait. In maths we introduced fractions and made pizzas. In the construction area we used blocks to create the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Colosseum.
