Universal Children's Day 20.11.17

Class: Nursery Year: 2017 - 2018

We took part in Universal Children's Day by finding out about lives of other children around the world, specifically those living in war torn countries.  The children talked about their own lives and what they are able to do and we looked at pictures of children who are experiencing war.  We prayed for these children and sent them wishes that they would have a better life.  The children lit a candle and added it to a whole school map.  While outside the children wanted to make a house for these children using the crates and thought carefully about what they needed to add to make it a home.
