Lesson: Understanding the World
Class: Reception Year: 2018 - 2019
In reception we spent the week carrying out lot's of different investigations. We did lot's of predicting and talking about our findings. We tested objects to see what would float and sink in order to help us find away across the channel. The children then design, made and tested their own boats. A ball of plasticine was dropped into the water and it sank. The children then had to try and work out what to do to make the plasticine float.
