Journeys topic

Class: Nursery Year: 2018 - 2019

Lots of the children had shown an interest in holidays and different forms of transport.  Some children brought in pictures of themselves on journeys they had been on and we talked about where they went, how they got there and who they went with.  We also found a lost suitcase and used the objects inside to help us work out who it might belong to and where they were going.  We read stories and investigated lots of different activities linked to journeys, such as 'We're going on a bear hunt', 'The way back home' and 'The gingerbread man'.  We even got to visit the book bus!
