Handa's Surprise fruit salad

After reading 'Handa's Surprise' the children used some tropical fruit to create our own fruit salad. The children used the melon baller to scoop the melon and carefully used the knife to chop the fruit into small pieces. They enjoyed the fruit salad at snack time and were eager to taste new fruits.
