European day of languages

Class: Year 1 Year: 2016 - 17

Monday 26th September

To celebrate European day of languages, year one studied the country Poland. We practised saying a few key phrases in Polish such as, 'Hello', 'How are you?' and 'My name is...'.

We also learnt how to count to ten in polish which was very tricky.

In the afternoon, we looked at some Polish folk art thinking about the patterns and colours they used. We then created our own symmetrical patterns in the style of Polish folk art.
