Increase in Breakfast Club Charges
I am very sad to inform all those families who use our breakfast club that we will have to
increase charges per day. Our costs have increased and we have not raised charges since
2016.
Unfortunately, last year we ran the club at a loss of over £6000 and we cannot afford to
sustain this loss any longer, as will start to affect people’s jobs.
The increase will take affect from the first day back in January 2024, the cost will increase by
£1 per day.
Now for a single child the cost is £2.50 a day – this will increase to £3.50 per day.
For two children or more the cost will increase from £4.50 a day to £6.00.
If we continue to run at such a great loss we will have to stop breakfast club altogether. I
know how much some parents rely on this service but we simply cannot afford to take such a
loss
