Easter Fun in Nursery
Class: Nursery Year: 2018 - 2019
In the lead up to Easter we have had lots of egg based fun in Nursery. We have been exploring eggs in different ways - counting them, having egg and spoon races, puting chicks inside and reading stories about eggs. We have also learnt about the story of Easter and the children have learnt why we celebrate Easter. They have been very observant spotting crosses in class and linking these to the Easter story. We also tasted hot cross buns and talked about why people eat these during Easter time. We learnt the song 'Hot Cross Buns' and paid 2p for our snack.
