After School Clubs
After School Clubs after Easter
Details on After School Clubs being offered after Easter were attached to the newsletter before half term and
can be found here. Please send an email to childrensuniversity.stoswalds@schools.sefton.gov.uk to apply for a
place. If children are opting to take a place the expectation is that they attend EVERY WEEK.
If children are dipping in and out we will no longer offer them places on the clubs. Some clubs are
funded and have to be paid for, if your child has taken a place and then decides they won’t go they
have taken that chance from another child who would have gone. Also, we are wasting valuable
schools’ funds paying for places that aren’t attended. If places are paid for and a child doesn’t go
because they don’t want to and parents allow this we will be charging parents in future for the wasted
place.
Staff run the clubs out of goodwill, we do not decide we don’t want to do it one week and let the children
down - so we expect the same in return. If you sign up for a club parents and children show
commitment and attend, just as we do.
Please note that clubs commence next week, w/c 22.04.24 and some run for 10 weeks and the clubs
highlighted with * run for 11 weeks. Please note that there are no clubs taking place w/c 03.06.24.
