Ethos Group

St Oswald's Ethos Group made up of 8 pupils from Years 3 to 6.

They have taken on a number of roles, including:

  • Meeting with teachers and church leaders every half term to discuss our school vision and how we can develop it.
  • To play a role in the embedding the principles of Children's Rights throughout the school
  • Visiting all the classes in school to gather pupils' thoughts, ideas and opinions.
  • Greeting important visitors and showing them round school, explaining our vision and explaining we are a RRS.
  • Being involved with weekly Collective Worship - saying the prayer during our whole school worship on a Monday, and suggesting ways we can improve our worship experience.

They meet up and work with similar groups from other schools, once a term, to see what kind of things they do and share the great things that are happening at St Oswald's.
