Autumn W/E 21.10.16

Class: Nursery Year: 2016 - 17

This week we have been discovering more about the beauty of Autumn.  The children recognised that the leaves change colour and fall down - the afternoon children had a great time collecting them to bring back into Nursery.  We loved exploring pumpkins and the children showed great hand-eye coordination hammering golf tees into pumpkins.  But by the end of the week our pumpkins were so holey the inside had to be explored! It was very gooey, slimy and full of seeds!  Henry the Hedgehog also needed our help to find a cosy hibernation home - the children collected lots of natural materials to help keep him warm and comfortable for his long winter sleep.
